Sign Up for Notifications Through the Smart911 System
Emergency Response Notification System
Both Christian County and The City of Fremont Hills utilizes Smart 911 as our emergency notification system. The Smart911 system is also used by Christian County. All Residents are encouraged to sign up for this free service, with options for multiple notification methods.
Once you’ve signed up for Smart911, first responders will be aware of important information you have provided that will help Police, Fire, and EMS locate and help you in an emergency.
There are other great weather alert Apps available to download to your smartphone, and weather radios for purchase. Occasionally we are asked if the City of Fremont Hills has storm sirens, and that answer is that we do not. The primary function of storm sirens is to alert people who are outside, and they are considered old technology (cities who have them tend not to replace them when they are in disrepair and in need of replacement).
