Dear City of Fremont Hills Residents,
Revised Parking Ordinance:
The Board of Aldermen recently updated the City’s street parking ordinance. While the prohibited parking hours remain unchanged, new provisions now prohibit parking near intersections:
- Vehicles, whether occupied or not, may not be parked within 25 feet of the nearest curb point of any intersection, except temporarily while actively loading or unloading passengers or merchandise.
- Vehicles may not be parked within 30 feet of the approach to any flashing signal, stop sign, or traffic control signal located at the side of the roadway.
Please review the attached ordinance for complete details.
Residents should also expect additional parking language to follow. The forthcoming language will address parking on both sides of the street, which will likely be prohibited in the future.
Thank you for helping keep Fremont Hills safe and accessible for all.
