Fall Reminders

Fall Reminders

Above:  Fall Reminders

Dear City of Fremont Hills Residents,

We’d like to share a few reminders about City ordinances and seasonal safety to help keep our community clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Leaf Cleanup
City ordinance requires leaves to be mulched and/or bagged at least once every 30 days from October 1 through January 31. Please do not place leaves, grass clippings, or other vegetation in the street or stormwater inlet boxes.

For residents living along the golf course, please avoid adding extra leaves to the course. The maintenance team will mow and mulch regularly to help keep the area clear.

Pets and Pet Waste
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals while walking within the City and properly disposing of pet waste in their own trash containers. Please do not leave bags of pet waste along streets or in neighbors’ yards.

Also, cats and dogs are not permitted to roam freely and must be leashed when off their owner’s property.

Golf Carts and Underage Drivers
All golf cart operators must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on City streets. This requirement helps promote safe and responsible driving throughout our community. Please remind young drivers of this important rule.

Pedestrian Safety
Drivers, please watch for pedestrians. Walkers should walk single file, face oncoming traffic, and wear bright or reflective clothing, especially during low-light conditions, to remain visible to drivers.

City Speed Limit
The speed limit throughout the City is 25 mph. Please observe all posted stop and yield signs and take a moment to remind young or newly licensed drivers to follow these traffic rules.

Thank you for doing your part to keep Fremont Hills a clean, safe, and welcoming community.
